Chess (Tandy Radio Shack Color Computer) (1980)

At the title screen, press the space bar. You'll be shown a chess board, and the color (orange or blue) of the background is the current player. Use arrow keys to move over a piece, press enter, and then use the arrow keys to move and select the grid square the piece should move to. The software will not let you make a wrong move. Good luck!

What is this?

The Internet Archive is now experimenting with an in-browser emulator that allows you to try software in the archives. Based on the MESS emulation software, this JSMESS (Javascript MESS) player should run in most modern browsers and will map to most keys on your keyboard. Constant improvements are being done to the emulation software and this interface. For background information on JSMESS and answers to common questions, see our JSMESS FAQ.
